Good Morning! I am up and at ‘em nice and early trying to keep up with my new growth project of daily blogging for an entire month (see NaBloPoMo page on the right for more info).
Something that caught my eye this morning was an article on the front page of Yahoo! that lists this rare 1990 Nintendo game selling for $17,500! As the old saying goes “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. Amazingly enough there can be an unlimited amount of extra cash awaiting you inside your closets drawers and old toys stored in the attic, basement or garage. Even if you don’t have a rare item that can list for $25,000 (like this was on Ebay) you can still manage to find a few items here and there to sell, trade or consign which can all add up to money in the bank.
Other ways of getting more for less can be found on recycling sites like freecycle.com. You can find treasures keep and use or sell them. The only limit is your imagination
Remember a penny saved is a penny earned!
Anyone else have other ways to generate some easy cash with a little investment of time? Every little bit adds up!
Commit to a lifetime of learning!

For me, it feels even better when I choose to raise funds for others as well as myself. For example, I have drawers full of scarves that I intend to sell, but I had been procrastinating. When I added the intention of selling and then donating a portion of the proceeds to a cause, I got ExCIteD! Those scarves are going with me this Friday to jumu’ah service, inshaAllah
That’s excellent! Let us know how that works out for you. You magniified your blessings by not wasting your provisions and then you are giving in charity, way to go!
